Al Thakira’s Mangrove reserve is the most beautiful natural sight in Qatar. Join kayaking through the mangrove forest, surrounded on all sides by greenery and a wide variety of unique flora and fauna, including bird watching. On the ride over to Purple Island, you will also have the opportunity to enjoy Qatar’s beautiful north eastern coast. At your request, you will also be provided with a guided walkthrough of the ecology of the mangrove forest.

Tour guide will provide beginner training on paddling and safety, then take you through the breathtaking mangroves while birdwatching and exploring nature heading to the Purple Island for more adventure!.
